We've been trying on some of our warm clothes and hats, and none of them fit...
Time flies - I can't believe how little he was when it was cold last...
We've been playing with balloons and we lay on them on the floor as if it were a pillow...
Then, we put everything up to our ear like we are talking on the phone whether it really is a phone or it's just the string to the balloons...
We've been feeding ourselves yogurt - surprisingly he does get some in his mouth. He kind of stabs the yogurt and the bites on the spoon, then will sometimes flick the spoon around and spray the yogurt everywhere. Oh well, we have to start somewhere.
Cousins Brody and Wade came over Sunday morning for a visit. Here Caden is showing Wade his dog Riley. It was like he was so proud to show off his dog to someone...it was cute.
Then everyone hung out at the fireplace. I think the attraction was that it was still warm from being turned on earlier.
Then we tried to get a picture of the three cousins, all looking and smiling...Take one...
Take 2...And they all fell down like dominos on Take 3...TAke 4 - all smiling...not looking at the camera, but all smiling (they were looking at Carly's mom)Then we were back at it with birthday parties...Brooke Rudd turned one! Here is the birthday girl (post cake bath)...Opening her presents or rather just playing with the tissue...Caden was loving all of the powerwheels toys they had. He loved to sit in the jeep (he didn't have quite enough foot power to keep the pedal down)...So, then he decided to get out and push it around the yard...There was a pink fourwheeler that he could keep the pedal down on, but I was too busy standing by in case he fell off to get a picture of that one and it would have been a good blackmail photo for later on life...darn it.
They also had a bounce house. He still wasn't too sure of it from being in the bounce house at Brody and Wade's party, but he was kind of liking it when all of the other kids got out and he had the whole place to himself!
Also, since our last post, Caden spent four nights in a row with Grammy and Pops! Mommy and Daddy missed him terribly, but we survived and Caden was loving being spoiled by his Grammy and Pops. This was a practice run for both Caden and Mommy and Daddy to be separated that long for some upcoming trips Mommy and Daddy have planned. Thanks Grammy and Pops! And when Mommy goes over to Panama City Beach next, she'll see if Grammy and Pops took any photos from their long weekend and will download some to the blog.
And now last but not least, a really cute picture...
He looks like such a big boy, doesn't he???
