Quick Ensley post

Ensley is almost here! Just a few more weeks. Her room is slowly coming together and we are slowly remembering all of the baby stuff we need before she gets here!

Here is a quick belly pic at 34 weeks.

Easter

Caden went to visit the Easter Bunny at the mall. He didn't want to get too close, but was all smiles :).

The night before Easter we dyed eggs or "dived" eggs according to Caden. He patiently waited on them to get finished. We would check on them and he would tell me that they needed a few more minutes.

Yes, I stripped him down to his underwear and I was wearing all black. Just in case of an accident...

The Easter bunny came and brought Caden some goodies. He was very specific and told the Easter bunny that he wanted a yellow semi truck, so that's what he got :). Check out the bed head!

Then we packed up and headed over to Great Grandmother's house to celebrate Easter. She has a big back yard, which was great for trying to fly his kite the Easter Bunny left him.

(Daddy has on his Easter clothes, but Caden still had on his riding in the car clothes).

We had lunch and then had an Easter Egg hunt in Grandmother's backyard. Daddy hid them for Caden and then Caden hid them for Daddy :).

Hugging goodbye!

Take me out to the ball game...

So, team sports take 2. We signed Caden up to play Wee-ball (tee-ball for 3 and 4 year olds). It actually is a little less chaotic than soccer was. Some of our friends are the coaches. We are just hoping that he learns more of the concept of the game and how to listen to his coaches (we talk about that every practice and game). He is learning how to run the bases. Fielding the ball is taking some work (since a few of them go after it at a time). We have had two games so far...here are some pictures from his games.

You may notice that there are just as many parents on the field as there are players...well, it takes some work to keep them focused :).

And how cute are his little baseball pants?!?

His attention span is still pretty short...thank goodness that these games are only about 45 minutes long. He has a tendency after about 30 minutes of just dropping his hat and glove in the middle of the field and just walking towards us.

Caden and The Egg

We spent an afternoon out at our friends the Pearson's house. The Pearsons have land, horses, ponies, chickens, and dogs. Caden loved it out there and did not want to leave when it was time to go home. He and his friend, Bo, went out to collect the eggs from the chickens. There were two eggs, so they each got one. Caden held onto his egg the whole way home (I was so afraid that I was going to have egg all over the inside of my car). The next morning, he woke up bright and early, ready to cook his egg. The pictures speak for his excitement over this egg...
